Read more Rather than serving meals in a feeding bowl, let your dog forage for their food inside our treat dispenser chew toys, which also help slow down dogs that eat too quickly. Rapid eating can lead to serious health problems, such as bloat, a condition in which food or gas stretches your dog’s stomach, causing abdominal pain. These toys slow down the eating process and entertain at the same time. Fill our treat dispensers with kibble or with more advanced recipes like peanut butter, cottage cheese, non-fat yogurt, fruits & vegetables, chicken broth and more! Best result is to mix wet & dry foods. To prolong feeding time and play time, freeze treat dispenser toys with food inside. There is more to these toys than just dispensing food. SodaPup treat dispensers are excellent enrichment toys and chew toys. Treat puzzles for dogs—like our treat dispensing toys—help mentally stimulate your pooch and keep them engaged. Treat dispensers are excellent tools to manage separation stress and can be used for crate training. They’re also great for keeping dogs calm and prevent destructive chewing and excessive barking. For puppies, we have food dispensers made from our proprietary Puppy Rubber compound that’s only available in pink color and formulated for teething puppies. It’s an exceptionally soft material that is gentle on sore gums, while providing durability for developing jaws. Note: not all pink color toys are made for puppies. In fact, most pink toys just happen to be pink in color, but aren’t specially designed for puppies. Pre-fill our puppy treat dispensers with moist ingredients and then freeze them ahead of time. Give them to your teething pup. The combination of cold ingredients and the chewy material of our toys helps soothe their irritated gums. All Sodapup toys are made in USA from the safest proprietary materials that are non-toxic, pet-safe, food-safe, and top rack dishwasher safe. Our products provide tremendous value because they’re built to last. We have a wide selection of treat dispensers with tons of fun shapes, designs, colors, and sizes for you to choose from for your fur babies; after all, variety is the spice of life for your dogs as well as yourself! Just fill each dispenser with food, keep it in the fridge or freezer, then grab one every mealtime, snack time, or when it's time to train your dogs. Choosing a suitable treat dispenser could be an overwhelming task, especially with the myriad of choices for these treat dispensers available on the market. Pet owners must consider their pet's size, chewing capacity, and strength, plus their pet's readiness to use these treat dispensers. Always take your time choosing a suitable treat dispenser for your pets—you mustn't rush and buy impulsively. Scrutinize the dispenser's quality, safety, and appropriateness against your dog's age and size. Here are some guidelines in finding the right treat dispenser for your pet: Durability: Durability is perhaps the most important consideration. Many dog toy companies use cheap fillers in their materials, which reduces the material's tear strength. To the naked eye, the material seems durable, but when put to the test with your dog, these materials don't hold up. At SodaPup, we use premium materials that are very durable. Our proprietary natural rubber materials have very high tear strength to resist destruction. Easy to Clean: Treat dispensers that are easy to clean will save the day! Go for the ones that are dishwasher safe and easy to clean and maintain. All SodaPup toys are top rack dishwasher safe. Dog-Safe Materials: Safety is of utmost importance, especially when you’re dealing with products that involve food. All SodaPup toys are made from our proprietary non-toxic materials that are food-safe, dog-safe, BPA- and phthalate-free, and Prop 65 compliant. Correct Sizing: A toy's durability has largely to do with the quality of the material and the size of the toy. If a toy is too small for your dog so that he can get it in his back teeth, then no matter the material, your dog will destroy it. So, it’s critical to buy the right size toy. When in doubt about the correct size, buy the larger size. SodaPup has a wide selection of sizes, shapes and designs that allow you to find the ones that are most appropriate for your pooch. Durability We specialize in innovative toys for power chewers. SodaPup natural rubber toys are made with a proprietary power chewer compound called PuppyPrene . Our rubber toys come in three compounds: Original for most power chewers, Puppy (only available in pink) for the tender mouths of teething pups, and Magnum , our signature black formula for dogs that destroy everything! Note: not all pink toys are made for puppies. SodaPup nylon toys are made from our proprietary PETstrong material. Our nylon toys are super durable and designed to be one size-fits-all: thin enough for the smallest chewers yet large enough for bigger dogs. While nearly all of our toys are made from nylon or natural rubber, we do have a few toys that are made from TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), which is a form of synthetic rubber. Safety Many dog toys are made from materials that have no business being in a dog’s mouth. Safety is our top concern and that’s why we have developed the safest non-toxic pet toy materials on the market that are also Food-Safe, BPA- and phthalate-free, and Prop 65 compliant. Our toys are also dishwasher safe (top rack), making clean-up simple. Furthermore, our proprietary nylon and natural rubber materials have high tear strength to resist destruction. Made in USA We understand that we live in a global economy, but we also believe that if our products can be made at home, then we should produce them here. Manufacturing overseas exploits cheap labor, lowers standards for the planet, and compromises quality control. As a veteran-owned business we believe in keeping jobs in America. We believe it results in higher quality products that are produced ethically and responsibly. Sustainability SodaPup makes sustainably-conscious decisions regarding materials & packaging. Our toys are made from sustainable materials that have very little factory waste. For example, our natural rubber materials are extracted from a tree called Hevea brasiliensis, making them capable of being decomposed naturally. Our innovative packaging system dramatically reduces packaging materials and the overall volume of shipments, which means fewer pallets and less space on trucks. This lowers transportation costs as well as our carbon footprint. Read more Not all dogs, and not all dog parents are alike. I've had a lot of people recommended SodaPup for power chewers. So I thought I'd give it a try.The rubber is more rigid than the black Kong material. It has a fuller shape so harder for a large breed dog to put it completely in their mouth. The opening is kind of large, so that could be positive or negative feature, depending on what you're using it for or stuffing inside. If you just want to slow your dog down during meal time, easy to fill and your dog will eat slower than from a bowl. Don't expect your dog to be busy for too long though. So far, used by a Boxer, Pitt, Great Dane, and Mastiff.Like any German shepherd she needs to stay busy and have tough long lasting toys ! This is great to fill and freeze! Easy to clean and so far lasting us ! She loves it ! We prefer them over the Kong toys !My pup loves this! It is a little different than her kongs, so it gives a variety in fun. It fills up with more food than our Kongs (these fill about a cup of food, the XL kong is a little over a half of a cup) so they make great for feeding meals in. It is however, less durable. My dog likes to chew - I would say she’s an extreme chewer, but she likes to destroy when she can - and she definitely was able to begin to destroy this one. I think it’s mostly because of the soda can lip (she can chew and rip that off easily), but it does seem a tiny less sturdy than a Kong, which she’s never chunked up. She’s not able to fully destroy it, so I still love it. So just a heads up if you have a destroyer or extreme chewer - purchase the extreme version of this toy for longevity :) I highly recommend it!I have 2 large pit mixes which love to work for their food. They would rather use this than eat straight from the bowl. I bought the smaller one so we gave that to a friend with a smaller dog. Overall very durable.i have a high energy dog that needs attention all through the day and i got this to keep him distracted while having fun at the same time. i stuff it with some of his favorite treats and it keeps him entertained for quite some time depending how much you stuff it.my dog enjoys it and i love the time i have to myself.i highly recommend this item.People may see a toy like this one and ask what makes it superior to its Kong counterpart. The sizing is comparable, pricing is within $1 for each respective size, and they're both made in the USA. I think the reason one would go with this toy over the Kong is aesthetic, plain and simple. Not gonna lie: it's a durable toy. My dog has smacked it into every surface imaginable, violently attacked it for the goodies inside (granted they were kosher beef hot dogs pieces at the time), and it is still going strong. The toy is sturdy enough to handle what my 75 pound puppy can throw at it.Why, then, am I rating this toy 5 stars when it has seemingly nothing to set it apart from its well-established competition? Because it's adorable. The writing in the can uses the same font one finds on cola cans from a certain Atlanta based soft drink company. The consistent shape makes it easier for me to hold in one hand, as well as easier for the dog to pick up and carry. Kong toys are not easy for the dog to just pick up and run with. This is a more suitable toy to a dog on the go.This toy is definitely a niche toy, but if you are looking to purchase a new Kong and have a particularly active dog who likes to run with his treats/toys, I highly recommend this. Also, it's adorable to see a dog with a can in its mouth (and if you can take a picture, you can make your family/friends think your dog likes to chew soda cans). It's a boatload of fun priced within $1 of its main competitor. There is a certain beer commercial that argues $1 is worth it for a better product. I tend to agree. Or, one could always buy one of each.My dog can chew through every toy and chewy treat but this kept her busy longer than most. It’s not destroyed yet but she is slowly nibbling it apart.I have a 135 lb dog so this is laughable but equally frustrating as I needed an XL like yesterday. Kiwi for reference. Sticker on bag labeled as XL, lol— who packaged this?! Overall, this is a great product and comparable to Kong brand if they can get the size and order correct. Three stars for my dog’s inconvenience. This was recommended to me by a dog trainer. it is so useful, I have stuffed it with chicken, cheese, liver cake, vegetables etc. I will stuff it and freeze it when the weather is warmer. It is a great distraction for my vizsla puppy and so useful when crate trainingI've had these for years, my dog loves them!great alternative to the traditional shaped kongAfter a couple times using this my dog was able to rip away at the rubber. It is now unusable as the rubber will continue to fall off and my dog will ingest it. If this was under $10 I would give it a higher rating but having paid more than double that I would not recommend this to any dog owner.Perfect size for my 23lbs shine inu, only drawback would be the white they use on the logo chips away after only one use and takes away from the overall look, would be better if they skipped the white on the logo. Other than that I’m happy with what I got and would 10/10 order again
