I don’t know if my little guy is some kind of monster, but when the teething puppy Nylabones were too easy for him to tear up, I moved him to these moderate ones, and they didn’t fare much better. And that was when he was only 4 months old and still had all his baby teeth. He did love them, though, so I let him chew on them right next to me when I got home from work, and I just kept some good scissors nearby, so I could chop off any pieces that were starting to come loose. I finally gave up, though, and bought him some of the My puppy has been teething and he loved this bone! It isn’t too hard for his puppy teeth but it still gets the job done!Bought this for our rescue pup, she a 14 month old chihuahua mix that weighs 9 lbs. took it out of the package , rinsed with warm water and gave it to her. She absolutely loves it and chews/plays with it everyday. We have one for inside and one for outside. Excellent buy!!My puppy loves them but in about an hour it's in 40 pieces. The nubs come off due to his relentless chewing. Yet he does not eat the nubs. We cut off wear then replace when we deem it has reached end of its life..First I tried Nylabone Puppy bone. Too soft, it’s not actually supposed to be edible. Next I tried Power Chew bones and they were hard enough to cause a cracked tooth. No give at all. FINALLY, I got some Nylabone Flexichew bones. I was worried they’d be too soft because they can bend a bit. Nope. Something in the Flexichew material has enough give, but is tough enough that bits and chunks can’t be chewed off.The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that they’re too small. The weight recommendation is off. Petite says up to 15 lbs, and it’s too small for my 8 lb, 4 month old mini Schnauzer. I also bought her the blue nubby Flexichew in small, for up to 25 lbs, and it’s the perfect size for her to hold one end with her paws and chew the other end. I let her gnaw on these petite ones when she’s winding down in my lap and I can hold on to one end.. She has a hard time holding on to the end and has gagged a few times since it’s skinny enough to go too far into her mouth. Very happy with the Nylabone Flexichew; I recommend going up one size. Amazon prices far better than pet store. Maybe take a look at the sizing on these next time you’re at the store for dog food to get an idea of which size would suit your pup.My puppy likes this one better than other ones and she chewed constantly. It shred a bit after a week. She keeps going back to this bone compare to other ones. I wish it would like little longer. I did freeze them and she loved even more.My Frenchie loves these. I only buy soft chew items to avoid cracked teeth. Although this is his favorite over kong products, he can and will eat the nubs off of this bone. Unfortunately he has gotten so good that I had to take it away from him. He's also chewed the corners off the bones as well, which is a choking hazard. Such a good concept, but just not good enough quality for my dog. This is the second one of these chews we’ve had for our puppy. The first was smaller and helped him with his baby teeth. The second, bigger one has been great helping him with his adult teeth coming through. He’ll chew on it for ages and is good as it’s got some give in it. The only thing I would say is that the little nodules get chewed off after a while and he swallows them. They appear in his poo. Don’t think they do any harm and the chew has really helped him.Excellent toy, very similar to the chicken puppy chew for puppy’s under 6 months and don’t have all there adult teeth. We bought this on the 26th October, our Samoyed puppy (6 months) took an immediate interest in it. Preferred it to her other toys and would get it on her own. I was thinking “WINNER” a toy she will take comfort with. Then, this morning she greeted me by throwing up 5/6 large chucks of it it. When I inspected the toy I realised that it wasn’t just the nobbles she was able to chew off, she was able to bite large sections at a time off and swollow them. It says on the package it’s for a moderate chewer, which is what our puppy is. But it just needed to be a bit more firmer. I’ve looked over the packaging I can’t see anywhere that there’s an age limit on it, nor does it recommend for dogs with or without adult teeth. Our dog has loved every nylabone product we've bought him, they're a great brand dog teething dogs especially but these are his absolute favourite bones, the first pair probably lasted around 5 months which we thought was amazing given the price and how he literally chews them for hours on end every day, this is the second pack of these bones we've bought and quite soft which is nice for the dogs but do last quite a while, really now he's getting too old for these softness bones because he is starting to do some damage to them a bit quicker but our pup absolutely loves them!Puppy loves t these.Got the "medium" hardness as our puppy is a bit of a chewer!Managing to make a fair number of dents in the bones, so probably not suitable for a heavy chewing dog.Overall, very happy with purchase..This has to be the dogs favourite nylabone. They do quickly naw the ends off it thoughWhen I next replace I’ll go up a size as despite sticking to the weight recommendation this seems rather small for my dogs
