Cute my puppy did kind of chew the slits a bit too much but it has held up okay!I love that my dog has a fun way of slowing down his eating and taking up his time and thoughts in the process. Now, even if I feed him this toy, he will eat more slowly. I highly recommend it.We play a game of hide-n-seek I call "go look". I hide his treats all over the house and most times inside this toy. When he finds it his tail knocks down the flower pots he is so excited and please! Highly recommend!Love the fact u can hide the treats in there and keeps the dog busy, but…. My dog (beagle) destroyed it within minutes. I was disappointedPlease see photos after one round of play to retrieve the treats this was all torn up my dog is not a big chewer. This toy is great in theory but it’s not made properly for what is intended to doGreat idea on this snuffle toy, but a couple of issues that really lost points for me. First, the treat pockets are really x-slashes in the toy so they hold a couple pieces of kibble but the pocket isn't very deep. Second and more importantly, the whole thing is secured by on spot of velcro - nowhere near enough to make getting into this toy even remotely a challenge for my coonhound. Extra velcro or larger strips would have pushed my rating up significantly, there was just not enough challenge in it. The piece itself is well-made, looks durable enough, but I want to wrap a rubber band or tape around it to make it more of a challenge! My dog is an aggressive chewer and I knew he would destroy this. This does have multiple squeakers and lots of stuffing to pull out. Definitely for small gentle play dogsI have an older aggressive chewer, that is a larger breed mix who is not as active, or hard on toys as she once was. She is still very food motivated. She also needs to lose a bit of weight, so it may seem a little backward to get her a foraging toy when she needs to lose some weight, but the goal with this was to get her up and moving more and interested in a toy instead of just chewing on it from a laying down position. However, when I got this toy in, it was clear that it was super easy for any large breed dog to get any sort of treat out of the pockets that it is in. I was confused about the placement of the velcro on the toy at first, it winds up to a coil, and once the dog figures that out, it will be easy to unroll, and quickly empty the treats from there. If you have a food-motivated dog, like mine, she lost interest after there were no more treats. She did play with this after some time without the treats in it as just a regular stuffed toy. So far it is holding up decently well, although like any large animal, with a stuffed toy. I don’t expect the stuffing to last long in there. All of that being said, if your dog loves stuffed toys, this is actually a reasonable-sized one for the price.
