We own many of the Learning Resources play food sets and my 21 month old daughter loves to help me bake, so she loved this set! You get a large bowl/spoon, egg, knife, bread, measuring cup, measuring spoons, rolling pin, cookie sheet and dough, 4 cut out cookies, cookie cutter, spatula, and 3 types of pie/fruit fillings. All of the Learning Resources food sets are made of high quality and very durable vinyl material and this is no exception. I love that she can pretend to roll out the dough and that the little cookie cutter has a suction cup that actually picks up the cookies from the cookie sheet so she can serve them. Another benefit of the dough/individual colored cookie shapes is that it acts like a puzzle when you put the cookies back in, so you can use it for spatial reasoning, shape identification, and color identification. She loves to slice the bread and strawberry with the knife and that also works on fine motor skills. Also, the cookie sheet actually fits perfectly into her play oven. We also love the crackable egg because it's just like when we cook in the real kitchen and make pretend play more realistic. The only thing I didn't like is that the bread doesn't slice too well because the velcro on it has difficulty separating with the lightweight knife, so she does get frustrated by that. Therefore, I very lightly attach the slices together to make it easier for her to cut. Also, the plastic that the bowl and measuring cup/spoons are made of feels cheap. But regardless of these minor flaws, we LOVE this set and highly recommend it!
