First off, if you want the teal, make sure to order the one that's got the teal PICTURE unless Amazon fixed that which I'm not up to verifying right now. I would guess probably the same goes for people wanting purple. I ordered a teal one, got purple, and sent it back for a refund because of that (the UPC's were off).Now for the actual toy review:.This bullet has 3 speeds of straight-up vibration with a push-button on the end to change the speed and turn it on and off. I have arthritis and fine motor issues in my hands, and although I did have to push a *little* harder than I would prefer and occasionally wiggle the button a bit as well, both changing speed and turning it on/off were doable one-handed. If you have similar issues and want to change speed or turn it on/off, I would recommend gripping with your dominant hand and using your other hand to work the button. If you're having NC-17 fun with other people, having them change it *for* you might potentially be a nice option (both as a "that's hot" sex thing and as a "my hands aren't up to it" disability thing) as long as everybody involved is down with it. (Please make *sure* you're all down with that--consent is vital, peeps.)I dropped it on a vinyl laminate floor once already by accident, and it stuttered briefly afterwards for maybe 10 seconds before smoothing back out. Based on that, try not to drop this one if you can (it's working fine at the *moment* but the problem definitely kept happening.)My best guess for why: my chronic pain issues mean that I was also testing this as a "hmmm....how does this work on sore spots?" pain management option, and based on my experience if you grip this too tightly or jar the battery component cap even a TINY TINY bit it's likely to turn off or stutter. The pain management answer might be yes if it's something where you can work a hands-free setup that won't jar the lid or if it's just that one bit hurting, because at least for me the buzz from holding this full-length in place over my hip bothered my hands more than using it as a pinpoint setup. (Putting it up against my back/neck/shoulders and then leaning back into my upholstered chair had slightly lessened vibration, but I could still feel it enough to notice and appreciate it.)Those three speeds are all pretty buzzy, but it's a variety of buzz that my body REALLY appreciates (I'm usually more of a patterns person) so yours may as well. It isn't *super* loud on any setting, but the 3rd speed is noticeably louder (and buzzier) than the 2nd which isn't whisper quiet either, so I would not feel comfortable claiming it can't be overheard if you have roommates or whatever. Because of the size/shape, this is pretty versatile (nipple play, it makes a good clit vibe, it also feels pretty damn good if you lay it down externally between your labia because it's long enough that it is likely to hit both your clit and your vaginal opening if that's applicable to your anatomy, I'm a cis lady so I can't say for *sure* it would be potentially enjoyable on some people's penises or for external prostate massage but it might be worth a try, and I haven't tried vaginal insertion yet but it may well be fun that way too. Without some *serious* sex toy adaptation, this doesn't have the kind of base required to insert it anally and not risk losing it solo and I also wouldn't feel comfortable claiming it was safe having someone else hold on to it and partially insert it.(Quick rec for disabled peeps looking for a starter anal toy: California Exotics' Booty Flexer is a good choice imo. It's not super powerful and it's three speeds of pretty buzzy vibration only, but other than that it makes the grade on some counts that a $20-25 vibe frequently won't. It gets extra credit for being made out of silicone which is both a body safe material and not too hard to clean, it's small enough to insert pretty easily without much warm-up given lube and such, it does run on batteries but they're not watch batteries which I'm H*LL NO about unless they're in a removable bullet and you already have a better one that fits, and I like how the beaded probe design works flexibility-wise. It's just flexible enough to *help* with getting it in without being flexible enough to flop around the way classic beads can, and can be propped into place if necessary to hold it still if your body isn't quite up to that without much risk of accidentally changing the vibration speed or turning it off when you didn't want to. It's also potentially externally and vaginally fun for most of the same reasons.)Material safety for the Kroma is pretty good. It's ABS with a metallic coating. ABS is generally considered body-safe, although it can become brittle with time and it's not impossible for the coating to flake off a bit either. If either happens, I *think* you could probably just cover it with a condom if the vibe was still *working* but that's just an educated guess and you might not want to take a chance. Because it's ABS, most lubes that your body will tolerate (whether water-based, silicone-based, or oil-based) should work fine, although water-based is generally considered the *best* option. It's also pretty easy to clean because most common toy cleaning methods will work fine.Once you take out the batteries and then re-close the battery compartment as tightly as possible, you can wipe it down with alcohol, use soap and water, and your preferred toy cleaner should also work. Personally, based on how touchy that battery compartment cap is, I would recommend wiping it down with alcohol or toy wipes because I suspect this is not splash-proof, let alone waterproof. If you do choose to clean this with a method involving water, be sure to let it dry with the cap off. Also, don't store this with the batteries in it, because if you do there's always a chance of corrosion and a few other issues. I also like to store mine with the caps off if possible.It came literally just the bullet in a paper Bubble envelope, no box, no instructions. Not sanitary at all I definitely don’t recommend!!!
