I first discovered these toys bc I had a neighbor who gifted us one when he saw our cat out on the balcony. Hoped I could find his shop on Amazon, and while this wasn’t it, I’m still super happy with the product. The mixture of the bouncing and the feathers just gets my cats going. They f’n love it.Downside is they very easily get sent under furniture, but such is the life of a cat parent! :)Cats love them but with all of the ones that make these they will all fall out(feathers). Our cats go wild with the super balls and feathersMy cat was pleased with his new pidan Cat Toys Feather Cat Balls. He seems to like that they are lightweight and bouncy. And, like most cats, he's a fan of feathers. However, feathers never last long in our house. And this was no exception. So we still have the bouncy balls, but the feathers have been shredded. These balls work well for supervised play, but they aren't a high-quality lasting toy.The feather is held in place by a metal mounting. It projects 2mm above the ball.Clearly a cat chasing biting this toy, which is what it is designed for a cat to do will most likely damage/cut the inside of it's mouth in my view as a long time experienced cat owner. Also I cannot tell how far the metal is in length inside the ball, put in bin collectors have emptied, otherwise I would dismantle to find out for this review. But the point is it must be of some length inside the ball, with a cat chewing/biting the ball clearly the opportunity for damage to the inside of the cat's mouth is substantial. Swallowing the metal is also a risk. As is dental damage.I guess unlike with children there are no safety laws on pet products that are none medical which I know do exist.I would advise avoidance of this product, in my opinion it is clearly not safe. A cat/kitten biting metal, and the bit that protrudes while not sharp is very rough metal .I assumed these would be the size of a ping pong ball - they are tiny - size of a chocolate malteser - choking risk!Very disappointed as they looked bigger (golf ball size) than they were. Otherwise ok. They still get lost under furniture! My cat seems to enjoy running after them and (almost) fetch them. However, when she then rolls over on her back while holding the ball in her teeth, I am getting a very bad feeling that there might be a choking accident. I wish these were slightly bigger and they would be perfect! The smallest balls with a pathetic feather. Very disappointed I will watch this firm and make sure to avoid them in future
