Unfortunately this didn’t last 10 min in with my Eclectus Parrot. Needs to be made a bit more durable. ?My Goffin Cockatoo loved these toys. She loves to chew and toys with strings and rope are especially fun for her. She's had several toys similar to these at almost twice the cost and they really are her favorites. The one concern I had is that the toy with the rope had tiny rings tied into the ropes so that the ropes didn't pull all the way through the holes in the wooden blocks. These rings are not shown in the pictures. My cockatoo just untied the ropes and released the rings at the bottom of her cage. It's not necessarily dangerous, but it's something to consider when evaluating a toy for your bird. Since my cockatoo loves to untie things, she mostly untied the knots and the small wooden blocks were mostly untouched. I picked them up and put them into one of her favorite foraging toys which gave them a new life and hours more fun.I got these two toys for my Red-bellied parrot. He loves to chew, and both of these have a lot of wood. They lasted a while, over a week. But he is a medium-sized parrot, and has a variety of toys to chew on every day.As much as I liked these toys, I had a few issues with each of them...The Banana toy used chains, which is good, but the rings at the bottom of the chains are not sturdy. They are cheap keyring style hooks, ones that my bird could easily get his beak caught in. I had to replace all of them with a safer hook. The other toy uses rope to string the blocks of wood together. Within days my parrot had shredded the rope and the wood blocks had fallen to the bottom of the cage. I tried unsuccessfully to get him to use them as foot toys. I may re-hang them using a chain so he can finish chewing them.A final observation... They list target species as cockatiel, parakeet. No.No. No. Then they go on to recommend large and medium size birds. If you get this toy for your macaw, cockatoo or other large bird, you will be disappointed. They will destroy it in less than a day. It is not sturdy enough for large beaks. My parrot has chewed many toys before and is quite "destructive." I know he will destroy this as well, but it is meant to be destroyed. These toys are great for keeping them occupied and entertained. But, it is quite pricey compared to other bird chewing toys. Our conures LOVE wood. These toys are perfect for them. The toys are bigger than I expected, especially compared to our small boys. We usually get them smaller toys and they destroy them in a day. These sre lasting longer than most of their other toys.Great toys to keep the birds busy.My African greys LOVE them.MY parrots loved chewing on these and seemed to peck at them constantly. If they like them, I'm happy, so this was a good purchase for two little destroyers who love to chew!I bought these for my Conures and my Cockatiels. They both love them. You can tell by the chew marks on them. I have had the banana toy before, and it lasted over a year before it became all chewed up. The birds love them. I will probably remove the bells or replace them. I know there can be some issues with conures and these bells but all in a great buy and I will continue to buy.
