My 9 month old is loving this toy! Most of its features have a silicon texture ..You do need some good grip and hand strength to pull this strings. There’s also some buttons you can push/ no sounds ..i have a 9 month old /2 yr old and 5 year old and my 2 oldest were more able to play with this toy bc my 9 month was more interested in like touching it and trying to bite it. It gives good motor skills. This toy came in plastic wrap without a box and I was afraid it was a used item. The toy itself is very clever and there are many ways to play with it. It can be chewed, pulled and pushed. There are no loose parts and the silicone is not easy to chew apart.I’ve always been a fan of Montessori items. I will say that was quite intrigued by this teether toy. It came sealed in plastic and had a tag that I removed before giving it to my child. I love that it could also be enjoyed by older kids and not just babies. I admit upon first opening I couldn’t resist trying out the poppers and buttons as well as the very fun different designed cords you can pull that have fun textures that a teething baby or even special needs may appreciate. I have ADHD and I might need to get one of these for myself. I won’t lie I instinctually wanted to spin the UFO (like a fidget spinner) but it definitely does not spin lol. I love the design of this teething toy and have never seen anything like it before. Under the saucer there are small descriptors of what this toy can help your child with:• sensory exploration• cause and effect• motor skills• midline playBottom line: This is not only a great teething toy but a great fidget toy for any age. I would love to get this again. This is a GREAT UFO toy for pullers! The disc in the center is nice and sturdy with interactive components - buttons to push and slide. These are easy to use, but small enough for adult fingers to barely maneuver which is a perfect size. The rest of the piece is rubberized and pliable with a good amount of give to help younger kids enjoy the toy too. The rubber-ropes offer a lot of variety in their strength and resistance when pulling through the blue center hole! Overall, cleaning the piece looks easy with a brush and soak; the only place to look out for are the inverted buttons on the center disc which I've tried to also show closely in the photos. This is a quality toy that's super cute! Definitely recommended for any fans of color (or UFO's!)Plenty to do with this gadget! Endless fidgeting for toddlers, plenty to teeth on for babies, really can't go wrong with this one.My toddler, 14 months, loves it, she's always playing with it.The pop it buttons are a great sensation for her too, but only one side pops well, the other side doesn't really "pop" if you know what I mean.We sterilized it in boiling water for 3-4 minutes just to be safe before giving it to her.I love that it has teething fixtures different textures and that it’s different colors this is what your call a good sensory toy it’s really sturdy and I love how it has the long strings it cleans easy so you can wipe it down easy as a mom that’s something I look at when purchasing baby toys.My grandbabies, aged 1, 2, and 3, all play with this toy and love it! It’s easy to grasp and the pull strings are easy to pull. It’s a great toy to keep in the car or throw in the diaper bag and it washes up nicely. Definitely a winner!
