This is only kind of a set of nine dice. Yes, there are absolutely nine dice in the set. That's indisputable, but there are four of them in black, and an exact duplicate set in white, and then there's one extra one that is a glow-in-the-dark green. I guess if you're playing with two couples that could make sense...but I don't think you really need two identical sets for just one couple. The activities depicted on them are, by their nature, for couples. And as far as the depictions on them go, they are a little hard to make out in some cases. there is a six-sided die with verbs on it (suck, lick, kiss, blow, stroke, "You Choose!"), and a ten-sided die with body locations (Lips, Ears, Neck, Inner Thigh, Below Navel, Toes, Fingers, Nip***s, A**, and "XXX"). Then there are two twelve-sided dice that show 24 different positions. The depictions are not always clear, and you have to use some imagination in a few cases...but I suppose that's part of the fun.It doesn't seem that the dice are meant to be used simultaneously, although the ones with words could be used to inspire foreplay, and the twelve-dice could be for when you get down to business, I suppose. There is, as I mentioned, a black and a white set of these dice, and then there is one glow-in-the-dark die which also has six different positions on it. It is surprisingly easy to discern the positions shown on the glow-in-the-dark die, but only for four or five minutes after the die is exposed to light. After that, the glow fades to the point where you'll have to turn on the light to see what 's on the die anyway.I don't know. I guess they're fun and kind of a funny novelty gift to give to the person you're intimate with, or for a bachelor party/bridal shower kind of a thing. Not a terrible deal for $10, but if you're looking here for something to "spice up" your love life, you might need to seek elsewhere.
